So 02/20 was the birthday of two fancy Jin boys. Jin Jixuan and Jin Guangyao Happy Birthday!

If we look at this in the most plausible manner possible, which is wwx tells her what he's planning and Jiang Yanli offers herself up... Some things I imagine will happen:

Wei Wuxian doesn't let her until she gives him a look, to which he finally agrees begrudgingly

Wei Wuxian is right there through the whole process and doesn't get captured by the Wens because he's at full power and is actively protecting both siblings

Jiang Cheng inevitably finds out what happens, not only because Jiang Yanli's relationship with him is not as complicated, and because sadly she does get noticeably weakened for seemingly no reason

The Jiang sect is not as cornered because the red flag of Wei Wuxian just stays the same scholarly genius, than a tsundere demonic cultivator

The sunshot campaign becomes harder to win without Wei Wuxian's demonic cultivation (but for the sake of the AU, they manage to win)

Jiang Yanli keeps getting weaker, and Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian get increasingly protective of her

Jiang Yanli still refuses the marriage proposal from the Jin, still with the reason of the well being if her sect

Jin Jixuan still extends his invite during the Phoenix mountain hunt

But the (in my opinion, magnificent) confrontation of Jiang Yanli and Jin Jixun doesn't happen, because Wei Wuxian isn't as antagonised and there is no way Wei Wuxian is letting her go through that this time

But he does stop their walk to escort her back and Jin Jixuan still confesses to her

Their relationship is still strained because she feels obligated to not accept, her siblings don't think he deserves her, and he's confused as to why she doesn't want to accept

This time around when Wen Qing asks for help, Jiang Cheng, knowing the truth, and Jiang Yanli, feeling the same as Wei Wuxian, offer the Jiang Sects support

Wei Wuxian finds out about Qongqi path and rescues the Wen remnants, and since he makes the journey on his sword, he should be able to save Wen Ning before he dies

But this time he goes back to Yunmeng Jiang

When the other sects ask for an explanation, they are able to explain their case better, not only because Wei Wuxian is less coreless-crazy and has more sway, but also with him still following the righteous path and with Lan Zhan being on better terms with him Nie Mingjue would be more willing to hear him out

And with the support of the Lan and the Nie they are able to resolve the issue with proper answers from the Jin

Thus destabilizing them

And hopefully in the middle of all of this Jin Jixuan has a heart to heart with Jiang Yanli and he tells her that her power doesn't lie in her core, and the Yunmeng Shuangjie give him a good shovel talk, he gets to marry Jiang Yanli

Oh and since Wei Wuxian is looking after the Wen remnants he had to stay back at Yunmeng, so Lan Wangji will marry into the Jiang sect and move to Lotus Pier and they adopt Wen Yuan (now Wei/Jiang Yuan)

And now Jin Lings has all his family actually alive and healthy

AU where Yanli is the one to volunteer for the core transplant and starts to waste away as a result. Does she resent Jiang Cheng for getting himself caught by the Wen despite being happy for him? Does she give up on Zixuan altogether because there’s no way he can marry a coreless woman? Does she check out emotionally at some point, leaving her brothers to desperately claw at each other and fall apart in the end? Would she ever resort to demonic cultivation?

2. Hello, I have a fic finder request. It was set in Cloud Recesses but I don't remember if it was when they were teens in lecture or adults post-everything. Wei Wuxian brought Lan Wangji a series of courting gifts, some of which were fish he had caught. He wanted Wangji to eat the fish, but Wangji wanted to keep the present, so Wangji kept this chest growing full of dead fish and it began to stink lol. I think maybe the characters were animal shifters which is why Wuxian thought fish were a suitable present. 5. For the next fic finder, I’ve been trying to find a fic where LWJ, LXC, and WWX are cats. LQR owns a tea house where LWJ and LXC are free to roam while WWX is a stray at the Jiangs’ shelter. Well one day WWX kind of breaks into the shop and continues to do so until LWJ likes him (I think that’s the order of events). When LQR gets the Jiangs to keep WWX away, LWJ starts getting sad without him. I think it ends with LQR basically adopting WWX since the Jiangs were going to have to put him down. I hope this all makes sense. Thanks for all of the help!

7. Hi! I’ve been looking for a specific fic for days now and I feel like I’m going crazy (ಥ﹏ಥ) if you could help I’d really appreciate it!

Details:

• it’s modern with cultivation, or some sort of tech magic. Still a work in progress from what I remember.

• wwx gets resurrected into a robot, and it specifically lights up with little emoticon faces while his voice is monotone. He doesn’t look like a human, I think he controls some sort of army bot??

• instead of Demonic cultivation I think it was some sort of technological cultivation?? Or an implant that could control the Androids and robots in the city. I’m sure an implant was mentioned though no flashback was shown.

• he meets the juniors and lwj, and spends some time running around in the first chapter I think.

• Lwj does take him to reunite with the Wen remnants which actually survived, and he’s offered to get an Android body later on (doesn’t happen in the fix yet).

• spoilers here but from what I remember the last updated chapter had him losing control and being commanded by Xue Yang to hurt (or strangle?) LWJ. During the fic’s version of the coffin city arc.

14. Hiii! From what I remember, the fic I'm looking for has a setting where there is an emperor outside of the cultivation world, and he doesn't really care much about them until the war breaks out.

In this fic, WWX was never adopted by the Jiangs. I think he taught himself how to read and write and then gave the imperial exam, and became a government official. (The next detail may be wrong or mixed up with another fic) after he taught himself to read and write at a young age, he started to write 'illegal' or 'banned' books for an elderly man for income, the man was actually very rude to him at first.

Later, he became a government official and quickly rose through the ranks to become a favourite of the emperor. The emperor sends him to the cultivation world to settle everything after the war, he wears a mask during this time.

I'm not sure if he had a golden core or not, or if he used demonic cultivation, but the cultivation world knew him as a non-cultivator, just a very good scholar. I remember LWJ started to like him cuz of WWX helped the war/rebuilding effort even as a non-cultivator.

When asked to help with purifying NMJ, he rejected the request and revealed to LXC about his lost core...

I thought it was Dispersing Clouds because it's genius WWX who creates powerful wards and many talisman, and also involves him taking over previous Jiang land/estates to help the Wen remnants. However DC explicitly says there will be no WQ or WN, and they were definitely in the fic I remember. For awhile they have to share a house with WWX and LWJ while new are built and WQ and WN tease them over their marital activities.

WWX uses wealth from his inventions to hire builders and make a village, and they live within the powerful wards and build throughout winter. I think another big difference is that WRH is still powerful and he or his son's attempt to attack the estate but can't get through the wards. Thanks for your help! @moku-youbi

A) First one is a time travel au where modern time wwx goes to the past to canon time and meets lwj. The time travel scene was like wwx going home from a night grocery shopping and when he took a turn he was at the steps of Cloud Recesses. Lwj doesn't know him because they hadn't met in that time (because canon wwx died before the study arc) but they get closer and lwj invites wwx to jin ling's 100 days celebration where jyl and jc recognize wwx and I think wwx has a panic attack? Because jyl died in his time. Anway it turns out that he can go back but lwj decides to go with him and they travel from modern to canon time like every year and stay 1 year there.

B) The other one is a modern a/b/o au in which the lans are rich, lwj is an alpha who has been in love with wwx for years. Wwx kept it a secret that he is an omega but lwj gets an anonymous message with a video in which turns out wwx is an omega. Before this all happened wwx had a streaming/youtuber career that he stopped when their house got burned down, jfm and yzy dead, and jyl got into a coma. Anyway somewhat later they get into an arranged marriage initiated by wwx to save jc's and lwj spoils him, but wwx has a stroke as well I think? And later it turns out the wens were behind the falling of the jiangs and the death of jfm an yzy. Wangxian also get married when wwx is in the hospital because of the stroke and later they have 2 kids.

Jin Sibling Au Part 5

Before he can start Guangyao speaks to his brother Jixuan who is now very aware of what he is doing behind the scenes. He’s not very happy and is only willing to help him since he wishes to help Yanli and her brothers.

Jin Guangyao spreads rumors about how the Wen Qing saved Sect Leader Jiang’s life and Wen Ning’s bravery for getting him out of Wen Chao’s prison. A month later it is also revealed how Wen Qing also helped win the war who could not stand her uncle’s cruelty to his own clan. There’s another rumor that Jiang Cheng and Wen Qing are in love.

At this point Wen Qing has heard all the rumors and is ready to hunt down the bastard that is spreading this crap. Yes, a majority of it is true if not slightly embellished. However, she is not in love with Jiang Cheng, shut up Wei Wuxian!

Jin Guangyao does not stop there, He encourages the rumours that Guangshan is trying to find those interested in demonic cultivation and that he may or may not have a piece of the Yin Iron. This of course causes an emergency meeting. 

Guangshan is forced to answer whether these rumors are true. He tries to weasel himself out of it, even looks to Guangyao to get him out. Guangyao just looks ahead.. Still conflicted, but reminds himself that this is for his brother. Who just so happens to not be there because he’s still upset him at both his father and brother.

Guangshan is stripped of his leadership and Jixuan is elected to take over. Guangshan is furious and admits that he is glad he never came back for Guangyao’s mother. Only reason Guangshan is not dead is because Xichen stops Guangyao.

Jin Guangyao and Lan Xichen finally admit their feelings for each other and are caught by Mingjue. 

Nie Mingjue: Aha! I knew you were a lying piece of scumbag! Lan Xichen: Mingjue I will not stand by if you speak ill of A-Yao. Nie Mingjue: I’m not talking about him, I’m talking about you! I knew there was more to this brotherhood vows. Lan Xichen: ( o_o ) oh...

Jixuan is declared missing when Madam Jin went to deliver the message about his accession as Sect Leader. Guangyao goes into big brother mode. This means he’s pissed at Jixuan for running away because it’s obvious he ran away, worried because yes he may be a cultivator who spent time outside but he doesn’t know how to rough it does he? And Mingjue should stop laughing at him if he doesn’t want him to stab him in the eye (Ok he won't but now Guangyao is done and just wants to talk to his brother. It’s become one of his comforts in life, aside from Xichen’s hugs, which he is quickly getting used to.)

Jixuan has left and told Yanli he is willing to leave the Jin Sect if it means he can have her in his life. Yanli does try to get him to realize what he is doing but in the end they decide to to stay together.

Jin Jixuan and Yanli do not waste any time and decide to elope. This almost makes Jiang Cheng Qi deviate who blames Jixuan for corrupting his sister. (The truth is Nie Huaisang and Wei Wuxian may or may not have helped Yanli elope.  A-xian can’t say no to his dear Shijie, Huaisang was only there to visit Wuxian, but decided to join in on this mischief as long as it does not trace back to him. Nie Mingjue traces it back to him. Your older brother knows you too well, lol! Wuxian later admits to Jiang Cheng that he helped Yanli to elope. Jiang Cheng pushed him off the Pier and told him to stay there.

They do find them and tell them what has transpired. Jixuan and Yanli have their wedding officially two weeks later, and no, they were not allowed to be together. Both Jiang Cheng and Jin Guangyao may have teamed up for that since they were highly upset for that stunt. After their wedding they can be together all they want, but for now they stay separated. Guangyao cover’s his ears when Jixuan tells him they consummated just to feign ignorance.

Jixuan and Guangyao resolve their issues. Jixuan starts to tease his older brother if he has admitted to Xichen his love. Guangyao retorts if he is ready for Yanli’s brother’s. It ends with a cute note how Guangyao will help him out.

A year later Jixuan meets the seer who gave him the prophecy. The seer is glad the noose did not tighten, which Jixuan still doesn’t understand what she means and scoffs. Say’s his life is well and has no reason to fear, especially when his son's first month celebration is on the way.

Xichen is together with Guangyao in Gusu, who alway’s seems to visit Jixuan who won’t stop asking for advice even though Guangyao has already helped him with this previously. 

Mingjue had their vows annulled and will consider renewing it once the two idiots marry.

Jiang Cheng and Wen Qing may be courting but aren’t making any big waves. WWX ruins that for them by announcing that they are sure to marry before the year is over.

WWX may or may not have been dragged away by LWJ for this. What they end up doing is up to anyone’s imagination. (´･ω･`)

In the end Guangyao and Jixuan are happy. They still argue, tease each other but are glad to have met each other.

So yeah, that’s what I have for the outline. I sort of want to write it out, but I’m still working on some other projects 😳. I may drop some au stuff here and there.

Jin Sibling Au Part 3

Okay before I start on day three of writing the next three pages of this outline I wanted to make a quick note. I noticed that my current blog may not be best place to put my writing in. It is eclectic with humor and politics along with story ideas that I’m still working on. So I may make another blog and just reblog this along with the other Jin Sibling Au. Just a heads up, I just need to come up for a name. 

Welp ¯\_(ツ)_/¯on with the outline 

Meng Yao meets Wen Qing. It takes a bit of finagling, but he convinces her to help him. It takes a lot of finagling! Especially when Wen Ning helps Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian. As far as he knows as long as they can keep Wen Ning safe she is fine helping him. She doesn’t know what he is doing with some information, but she finally gets an idea, but it’s too late. If she tells Wen Rouhan, her brother may suffer the consequences. All she can do is help Meng Yao and hope it helps her in the long run.

Notes: Meng Yao sees how Wen Qing protects her brother while Wen Ning is nothing like her.

He asks Wen Ning if has ever been jealous of Wen Qings forceful personality. Wen Ning say’s no because he knows his sister cares and loves him. In fact, he compares it to a warm blanket of love that he can’t get enough of. Meng Yao thinks it’s too gushy ￣へ￣

This is right after Wen Rouhan’s defeat:

After Wen Rouhan’s defeat, Meng Yao becomes Jin Guangyao. Both brothers have not talked, but Guangyao knows that Jixuan may be upset with him.

The news about Meng Yao formally accepted into the Jin sect is met with mixed reviews. A majority thinks this is wonderful, including Xichen who know’s how hard Meng Yao Jin Guangyao worked to have Sect Leader Jin to acknowledge him.

Nie Mingjue is skeptical but keeps his mouth shut. He still remembers the actions that JGY did.

He tries hard to please his father (he did an excellent job with the banquet) but is conflicted when he’s tasked to ensure the elimination of the last Wens. He speaks to Jin Guangshan that he could not have done this without the help of certain Wen’s but his father would not hear of it.

Jin Guangyao is now hesitant to talk to Jixuan. Jixuan however has become quite stubborn and meets face to face with his brother. They argue first about not sending each other letters (they both agree that maybe it’s pointless to fight about that) Then Jixuan pleads to please be careful about following father’s every whim. He says’s he can talk to mother and convince her to have him under her care.

Guangyao refuses, he knows Madam Jin would rather swallow needles than protect him, and states he just needs to do what father order’s showing he is worthy. He’s trying to convince both his brother and self. Jixuan doesn’t accept his choice and runs off. Guangyao has trouble swallowing the guilt he feels. He shouldn’t feel guilty, after all the Wen’s aren’t family and his brother surely won’t know what he’s about to do, right? He’s now part of the Jin Sect, he can finally spend time with his younger brother and he’s sure he can get father’s love.

Jixuan meets Yanli who is there to help her brother’s. They end up talking which is sweet and say’s he envies Yanli. This makes her confused until he states that even though her brothers are a terror for him, he can see how much they love her and what they will do for her.

Yanli states that yes, her brothers are a handful but they are wonderful to be around with and is grateful to have them in her life.

There is a lot of blushing and Jixuan may have wondered what it is like to hold her hand a lot. Then he remembers that he has yet to give her a formal apology for his accusation during the war. Yeah no, that simple apology is not good enough she deserves better.

Meanwhile, Xichen realizes that Guangyao is upset and suggests that they walk to talk in private. It’s okay, thinks Guangyao, after all it’s great to catch up with a friend.

They end up talking, which leads to a sweet, unexpected kiss. Xichen is excited and confused. He didn’t expect his feelings to lead to this, but it makes him happy. With Guangyao, however, he feels horrified. This will not work. His father will find out and cast him out and the cultivation world will have another reason to look down on him, after all he is the son of a prostitute (seriously his issue with this irks me, but I can see why he is hung up about it. It pisses him off no matter how much he tells Jixuan to not worry about it, however it will still be something that bothers him. I will unleash the sibling love from Jixuan as soon as they both stop arguing!)

Guangyao leaves abruptly, leaving a brokenhearted Xichen. o(TヘTo)

Nie Mingjue still does not trust, even though Lan Xichen tells him that he needs to give Jin Guangyao a chance. Mingjue is quick to bring up how Guangyao is now ignoring him. This does hurt Xichen but makes no comment on it.

In order to ensure that he can keep an eye on his competitors, Jin Guangshan wants Jin Guangyao to talk to them.

In an act of desperation Xichen asks for the vow of brotherhood Mingjue agrees and Guangyao is forced to smile and agree.

Xichen: Want’s to at least have a connection with Guangyao. He may not be interested in him romantically but maybe still be there for him as a friend and show Mingjue  that he is a good person.

Mingjue: Knows that something is going on and believes that Jin Guangyao is planning something.

Guanyao: Follows his father’s wishes to have some sort of alliance and keep an eye on both sects. He refuses to think about that kiss, even though he has taken a few careful glimpses towards Xichen’s direction.

Even though Jixuan is upset with Guangyao, he does end up going to him for advice:

        “Guangyao, I need your assistance!” Jixuan winces. He didn’t mean to make it sound like an order, but for sure his brother can tell not to take it to heart. The courtesy bow proves him wrong.

        “Of course, How may I be of service? (❁^◡^❁)” Jixuan frowns. This was not going how he thought it was going to go. ಠ_ಠ 

        “Stop that!” He orders placing his hands on his brothers arms, maybe a bit too forceful, so he did not have to bow. “I may be mad at you, but you're still my brother, not a servant.” 

         Guangyao surprised but nods. Jixuan goes back to the topic at hand. 

         “Anyway, help me, please.” Guangyao laughs. Jixuan looked embarrassed, it must not be easy for him to also for help, the question is why? He never had trouble asking for help on his education or phrases he did not understand in the common folk. 

          “All right, I will help you, brother. Now what can I do to help.” Guangyao replies, interested to find out why his brother is so nervous.

          “Better! Well, I need help-” he gets nervous visibly, hands behind his back, looking everywhere but Guangyao as he paced back and forth “-normally I go to mother but I don’t want to hear her nag at me again. I know you will too, but it won't sound as irritating.”

          “What does Madam Jin-” Begins Guangyao then instantly puts the pieces together. “Does this have to do about Lady Jiang Yanli?” Jixuan is silent, stopped pacing to look at his brother but his face is red. Guangyao laughs at him and retorts at him.

           “I told you so!” 

           Jixuan looks betrayed and then grumpy. Is this how brothers really interact? You fight with each other, but can still talk to one another and then betray you when you ask for their help?

          Once his teasing is done Guangyao smiles at him. “Tell me what do you need help with exactly?”

         “I need to woo Yanli, I did her wrong and accused her unjustly. I apologized, but only simply. Now I want to do her right, that apology doesn’t feel enough.” Then in a rather meek voice, “Please help me.”

          Something in that voice, how Jixuan is treating him now (no he’s done it before just never in public but wasn’t for the lack of trying) warms his heart. It also reminds him of how Xichen Zewu-jun treats him. No, that’s wrong. Is Jixuan looking up to him? That’s a little ridiculous. Shaking his thoughts away, he agrees to come up with a proper formal apology. Who knew he would seriously take his advice with ‘I’m sorry’. He may need to be careful with his teasing.

Okay, So I wrote more of the outline but still need to figure out some kinks here and there. I almost had a few events mixed in, that I had to consult the wiki. I love the web series, but I am not spending a lot of time going through it. So I do know that Jin Jixuan is older (Thank you @minutemarch for the correction :-D), but in this au universe he is now younger! You can thank my confused self who misread the wiki page and other sources.

So yeah, love interest for both siblings but still a hot mess for all parties involved. After all, Yanli may have received an apology, but after all the indifference she received from Jixuan, he will need Guangyao to help him. Especially with Yanli’s brother’s in her corner ready to defend her. (I don’t mean to make them sound horrible but this is in the point of view of Jin siblings so it comes across that way ಥ_ಥ)

And we are not forgetting Guangyao and Xichen. I feel that it will be extremely angsty at their end too. Tbh I have more written for them but I keep finding myself adding more for Jixuan and Yanli.

Next part: Jixuan tries his hand at helping Guagyao with Xichen... you should probably ask the right people and not the ones who’s sister you’ve made upset.
